RABBIA E POTENZA: STONE LANCIANO 'NEVER AGAIN'
Liverpudlian noisemakers
STONE are back with their first new music in a year.
‘NEVER AGAIN’ is an unfiltered, uncompromising reintroduction—honest, unpolished, and entirely on their own terms.
This is
STONE untamed: channeling the jagged energy of punk and hardcore to tell a story of recovery and redemption. It’s the same band at their core—only now, the edges are sharper, the blows hit harder, and there’s nothing holding them back.
Recorded live,
‘NEVER AGAIN’ captures the chaotic spirit of the band’s house party roots. Lead singer and guitarist
Fin Power anchors the track with a fierce sense of autonomy—reflecting both his personal sobriety and the band’s reclaimed control after a bruising major label experience.
"‘NEVER AGAIN’ is a reaction to having had some of our control taken away for a chance at radio or viral success,” says Power. “Sonically, it’s lightning in a bottle—tracked live, exploding into choruses, and hitting even harder as it ends.”
Lyrically, the track lays bare the emotional fallout of industry disillusionment, balancing raw anger with a proud sense of resolve. Power drew inspiration from
Cyberpunk 2077, especially its spirit of rebellion and the legend-making bar The Afterlife—a world where fighting back against the system is part of the mythos.
As
STONE set their sights on the future, their focus is on forging real-world connections. Whether through rage, sadness, sweat, or pure euphoria, this is punk built for the mosh pit—not the algorithm.
