Le Florence Road pubblicano oggi il loro nuovo brano, “Hanging Out To Dry”, tratto dal loro EP “Spring Forward” in uscita oggi.

Il 2025 le ha definitivamente consacrate come uno dei nuovi gruppi più interessanti da tenere d’occhio. Il quartetto irlandese ha pubblicato il suo mixtape di debutto, “Fall Back”, riscuotendo un grande successo, ha registrato il tutto esaurito nel suo primo tour da headliner nel Regno Unito e in Irlanda e si è aggiudicato importanti riconoscimenti, tra cui un posto nella lista BBC Sound of 2026 e nella selezione “Artist to Watch 2026” di Pandora. Sono inoltre apparse sulle copertine delle riviste DIY (nel numero Class of 2026), Hot Press e DORK, hanno offerto performance straordinarie al SXSW di Londra e al The Great Escape e hanno aperto i concerti di Olivia Rodrigo, sombr, Wallows, Royel Otis e Wolf Alice. Con nuova musica in arrivo quest’anno, il loro percorso procede spedito.

Composto dalle amiche d’infanzia Lily Aron (voce), Emma Brandon (chitarra), Ailbhe Barry (basso) e Hannah Kelly (batteria), il gruppo Florence Road ha trascorso l’adolescenza perfezionando il proprio repertorio nel capanno da giardino di Aron a Bray, in Irlanda, affinando un sound che risente tanto dell’influenza di icone come i Cranberries quanto di quella di artisti contemporanei quali Wolf Alice e Phoebe Bridgers.

Dopo aver catturato l'attenzione del pubblico pubblicando online cover nel loro stile distintivo, la band ha più che mantenuto le promesse iniziali e il fervente clamore che le circonda dovrebbe servire da chiaro segnale che le Florence Road sono destinate ad affermarsi come una delle band di riferimento della loro generazione.
