Originally released in 1981 on the Dischi Della Quercia label, this music comes across today as freshly and urgently as it did on first release. There is nothing undeveloped or experimental about it. Trovesi has been working through the implications of this music ever since, spinning new versions and interpretations with each succeeding record and performance. A rare and valuable opportunity to hear exactly where the story began. 

Cinque Piccole Storie was recorded in July 1980 at Barigozzi studio, Milan (Italy). The recordings were remastered in Rome by Danilo Rossi in 2022.
