The Dazz Band is an American R&B and funk group formed in the late 1970s in Cleveland, Ohio. The Dazz Band scored over 20 hit singles on the R & B and Pop charts and are most known for their smash hit single “Let It Whip,” which won them a Grammy Award in 1983. They became pioneers of funk & R & B genres, blending infectious grooves with smooth vocal harmonies.
