CHARLOTTE OC RETURNS WITH “ROMEO” — A SLOW-BURNING ANTHEM OF FATED CHEMISTRY
Charlotte OC unveils new single “Romeo” — a smoky, soul-soaked slow-burner that flips the page on heartbreak and dives headfirst into magnetic connection.
Following the haunting “God, We Tried,” this new single trades sorrow for swagger — lush production and velvet vocals wrapped around a story of two flawed souls who might just be better together. “It’s about meeting someone and realising neither of you are perfect — but maybe that’s what makes it work,” Charlotte says.
Sultry, swaggering, and soaked in late-night allure, “Romeo” blends rock-and-roll grit with after-hours soul — Patti Smith meets Portishead in a leather booth at closing time. “Met your match in me / Late-night lothario…” she croons, part confessional, part challenge.
“Romeo” is a glimpse into her upcoming EP ‘Seriously Love, Go Home’, due later this year — a bold, cathartic record shaped by heartbreak, self-reckoning, and creative rebirth. “Making this EP saved me,” Charlotte shares. “It’s the sound of losing everything… and finding myself again.”
