DOPO DUE SUCCESSI MONDIALI, SHINEDOWN TORNANO CON LA POTENTE “KILLING FIELDS”!
The multi-platinum band Shinedown has unleashed their latest powerhouse track, “Killing Fields,” via Atlantic Records. The song begins as a slow-burning invitation filled with mystery, before bursting into an anthemic chorus propelled by soaring guitars. Its lyrics capture the chaos and struggles of modern life with an emotional honesty that invites listeners to find their own meaning within: “We’re not sick but we’re not well, we’re just toxic twins on a carousel.”
Frontman Brent Smith emphasizes that “Killing Fields” is deliberately open to interpretation, encouraging fans to think independently and ask questions. He acknowledges these are complex times and challenges listeners to consider how they will respond. The track arrives just as Shinedown prepares for the biggest, most ambitious tour of their career, kicking off July 19th at Boston’s TD Garden, followed by their first-ever performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 20th, and continuing to LA’s KIA Forum on August 3rd. On the second leg, Bush and Morgan Wade will join them on all dates.
“Killing Fields” is Shinedown’s third release in 2025, following the singles “Three Six Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance.” “Three Six Five” has charted across five radio formats, including #1 Alternative and Top 10 Hot AC & AC. Its animated music video has become a platform for fans to share personal stories of loss and healing.
“Dance, Kid, Dance” earned the band their 22nd #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, and cemented them as the only band with 20
#1s in Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart history. Shinedown also now ties with Foo Fighters for the most Top 10 appearances on the chart.
In 2025, Shinedown won Rock Artist of the Year and Rock Song of the Year (for “A Symptom of Being Human”) at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The track has surpassed 125 million streams and earned multi-format radio success.
