Loaded Honey is the new project from Brit Award winning Jungle’s Lydia Kitto and J Lloyd, born from an effortless creative partnership that began during the makings of Jungle’s last two albums, ‘Volcano’ and ‘Loving In Stereo’. Working and later living together, they found themselves surrounded by an overflow of musical ideas that stretched beyond the world of Jungle, too intimate and expansive to fit into one singular project. Loaded Honey became the space for all of it.
If Jungle is for Friday and Saturday nights, Loaded Honey is for Sunday morning. It’s a different kind of experience. Cinematic, romantic, raw, and deeply soulful. This is music for reflection, for storytelling, for pure emotion.
They now share their official debut single ‘Don’t Speak’ which has just premiered as Jack Saunders’ Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1.
The ‘Don’t Speak’ video (directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido) is the second in a series of 11 one-shot visual character pieces that have been created to accompany the music. These aren’t just music videos; they are storytelling pieces that reflect the last three years of life, love, and change.
