Dirty Nice return with their new single ‘What I Wanna Hear’, a vibrant, hook-filled track that blends glitch-pop textures with psychedelic indie grooves. It offers a first real taste of their upcoming album Planet Weekend, set for release on May 23rd via Chiverin. Marking a refined evolution of their sound, the record explores themes of disconnection, fantasy, and the blurred lines between digital and real life—reflecting a generation caught between escapism and reality.The album’s teaser track ‘Another Life’ received multiple spins on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music from the likes of Sian Eleri, Alyx Holcombe, and Chris Hawkins. Dirty Nice will also appear at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool on May 25th, bringing their dynamic new material to the stage.
