SHOUSE ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “SUNRISE” VIA HELL BEACH / ONELOVE
SHOUSE’s luminous new single “Sunrise” is the first taste of their long-awaited debut album, Collective Ecstasy, landing globally July 4.
The award-winning Australian/New Zealand electronic duo SHOUSE (Jack Madin and Ed Service) have soundtracked dancefloors from Ibiza to Berlin — but Collective Ecstasy marks their first full-length LP. Created in Naarm/Melbourne and built on a foundation of euphoria and connection, the album is a heartfelt tribute to the dancefloor as a communal space.
“Sunrise” is the emotional pulse of the record — a shimmering, slow-burning anthem for that 2am threshold, where night blurs into something more tender. Sun-drenched nylon guitar, trumpet, a longing vocal refrain — Take me to the sunrise, baby. I don’t want to be alone — all wrapped in SHOUSE’s signature house groove.
“There’s something that happens around 2am — a quiet threshold between the high and the hush,” the duo share. “‘Sunrise’ was made for that space. Written in a rural Victorian shack, it centres on a simple guitar, a trumpet, a steady pulse, and a refrain that carries the weight of longing.”
Following the completion of their Love Tonight trilogy — and fresh off their hit “Walk With Me” with Felix Jaehn (500,000+ Shazams and climbing European airplay charts) — SHOUSE are back at full force.
They’re also reviving their mass-musicking event SHOUSE Communitas for RISING Festival, where the audience becomes the band in a collective experience like no other.
From community roots (Ed as an arts manager, Jack as a primary school teacher) to Diamond status in France, Platinum in the US & UK, and over 1 billion streams worldwide, SHOUSE prove the biggest anthems are still powered by real connection.
With Collective Ecstasy, they invite us all to keep dancing — together.
