Born in Tabriz, one of Iran's coldest cities located far north, artist and songwriter Paria now based in Oslo, Norway grew up feeling distanced from her own culture. Despite the government's strict rules against women, Paria found solace in music, which became a way for her to express her feelings.
She spent countless hours watching 00's R&B and hip hop music videos, honing her craft in the privacy of her bedroom. After moving to Turkey and then to Norway, she finally was able to release music and dive into exploring her passion.
Paria's music is timeless and rich with experiences from a diverse upbringing. Her melodies and lyrics speak of truth, love, and self-growth. The most central elements in her music are her layered and relatable lyrics.
