DEAD AIR, PUNK DA SOUTH LONDON, TORNANO CON L’ENERGICA “FAST FOOD WORLD”

Dead Air return with explosive new single ‘Fast Food World’, out now via Fly Tip Records. A three-minute burst of high-speed riffs and biting lyrics, the track takes aim at overconsumption, throwaway culture, and the creeping soullessness of modern music.

“So much of it feels soulless now,” the band explain, recalling life on the road and in the studio. The phrase ‘Fast Food Music’ was born out of frustration – and became a rallying cry for the new release.

The single draws on influences from some of the band’s favourites: the low-string drive of Queens of the Stone Age, a nod to Adam Jones, and a punchy chorus in the spirit of Bad Nerves. It’s fast, fierce, and made to go off live.

And go off it did. After debuting the track on their UK tour – including Focus Wales and a sold-out headline at The Social, London – frontman Reuben recalls: “We first played it on tour and it just… went off. The crowd went mental.”

This follows the successful release of ‘Die’ and their EP ‘Elements’ earlier this year, which sparked a growing following on TikTok and airplay across Europe, including John Kennedy (Radio X), Radioeins (Germany), NRK P13 (Norway), AntyRadio (Poland), Radio Freccia (Italy), Radio Freccia, Radio Rock, Radio Lombardia (Italy), and more.
