MOON MAN’: L’ANTEPRIMA FINALE DI CHARTREUSE DAL NUOVO ALBUM BLESS YOU AND BE WELL
Chartreuse unveil their new single ‘Moon Man’, the final taster from their brand-new album Bless You & Be Well, out now via Communion Records. The track premiered on Lauren Laverne’s BBC 6 Music show, adding to the anticipation around the band’s latest release.
Speaking on the song, guitarist and vocalist Mike Wagstaff reflects: “At the time of writing ‘Moon Man’ I was in a constant state of missing someone, so I felt qualified to write this song.” Inspired by the Chinese myth of Chang’e and Hou Yi, the track captures themes of longing, love, and separation through celestial storytelling.
The single arrives alongside news of fresh EU tour dates for 2025, following a packed summer of festival appearances at Sziget (Hungary) and Heldern Pop (Germany). Chartreuse will also celebrate their album with a series of listening parties and in-store appearances before embarking on a UK headline tour this autumn.
Bless You & Be Well was written in rural Iceland at Flóki studio, where the band found both refuge and inspiration. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies (The Smile) with engineer Oli Middleton, the record channels honesty, grief, resilience, and connection, shaping Chartreuse’s most expansive work to date.
The album follows a wave of acclaimed singles ‘More’, ‘Fold’, ‘I’m Losing It’ and ‘Sequence of Voices’, which have earned support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, and outlets including Rolling Stone UK, Clash, Wonderland, The Line of Best Fit, and Rough Trade. Rolling Stone UK describes 2025 as a “transformative year for the band.”
With their unique bond and ever-evolving sound, Chartreuse continue to defy indie-rock conventions. Bless You & Be Well is both intimate and expansive, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
