Alt-pop provocateur Jessica Winter releases her incredible new single and music video, ‘L.O.V.E’, out now via Lucky Number. It is her first solo music release since her exceptional and critically acclaimed 2023 EP, Limerence.
On ‘L.O.V.E’, Jessica Winter creates a vibrant pop anthem that channels 00’s aesthetics and addictive dance-pop beats which is sure to be an all time classic. Relentlessly inventive, with her new single Jessica does what she has done for her whole career and takes a multitude of influences and stamps her unique, unmistakable ‘Jessica Winter’ sound across them. The accompanying video was inspired by Bob Fosse’s seminal 1983 film, Star 80, and sees Jessica undergoing a photoshoot in the backdrop of her home.
Jessica Winter is an artist who doesn’t belong to one genre, scene or group. Having been in bands for the past few years and currently one half of the duo PREGOBLIN, Jessica has a habit of never stopping and consistently curious of writing and producing music for herself and others. Most recently Jessica has been working with Jazmin Bean, Brodka, Lauren Auder, Walt Disco, Sundara Karma & Phoebe Green.
After years of writing with people for joint projects Jessica started to write solely for herself in her garden shed turned home studio, releasing a couple of EPs and a string of singles under her own name over the past 4 years. She signed to Lucky Number (Dream Wife, Walt Disco) to release her anticipated debut album next year.
Jessica also recently scored Amazon Prime series Dead Hot, as well as two seasons of CBBC series Princess Mirror-Belle. Additionally she has scored the short film Beacons by director Nan Moore.
