Music icons, Sugababes release a new single entitled ‘When The Rain Comes’, in celebration of their sold out show at London’s O2 Arena.

‘When The Rain Comes’, is another slice of effortlessly stylish British pop from the band which comes almost exactly 10 years after the release of their critically acclaimed single ‘Flatline’. This special release is a thank you to their loyal fans and supporters ahead of their big London show. The track, written with George Moore (Stormzy, Nao, Yebba), who also produced the track with the group’s live band, and Iain James (Little Mix, Anne-Marie), is the first to be released before their highly anticipated album in 2024.

The band add “We loved being back in the studio and writing this song this summer, and it feels like the perfect song to release to coincide with our biggest headline show to date. This song is a celebration of the people in our lives who stand by us and lift us up through the good and bad times. The three of us have been that for each other over the years, and we felt there was no better way to mark this moment in our journey than with this song.

After forming in 1998 in their early teens Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy exploded onto the UK music scene with their critically acclaimed debut single ‘Overload’. The release of their debut album ‘One Touch’ followed and Sugababes went on to become one of the most successful British girl bands of the 21st century, scoring six Number One singles, millions of global sales, and multiple multi-platinum albums.
