Crystal Fighters, the part British and part Basque, part old and part new, part pop and part traditional band who most recently debuted tracks from the forthcoming album during headline slots at the BenicaÌ€ssim, Rockland Art and Sonidos Líquidos festivals in Spain, have today shared a new track, ‘Carolina’. This follows ‘Manifest’, which they shared in June of this year.

Talking about ‘Carolina’, Sebastian Pringle of the band said:

A real-life love story set in Colombia, Carolina is a homage to a woman Seb fell for, someone who escaped the rat race, and made her way to the coast. “She was living a different life… with not a lot of money, but a lot more happiness. I wanted to tell her story, of how she claimed her freedom by letting go of what society expects of us to pursue her own dreams. Living a life you enjoy rather than living for your work.”

The track is taken from sessions from their forthcoming, as yet unannounced, 5th album, details of which will be revealed shortly. Additionally, the band have shared a video for ‘Manifest’ which can be viewed HERE

A massively successful live band internationally capable of filling arenas, Crystal Fighters will be announcing details of a full European tour shortly, in the meantime, they have a number of further European festivals confirmed over the summer, the full details of which are as follows:

06.08.23 – Menorca Music Festival – RECINTE FIRAL DES MERCADEL, ES
07.08.23 – 61 Porta Ferrada – SANT FELIU DE GUIXOIS, ES
12.08.23 – Fest Festival – ESPINHO, PL

08.09.23 - Nachiños Festival – FERROL, ES

Currently made up of Sebastian Pringle (lead vocals, guitar), Gilbert Vie-rich (electronics, guitars, percussion) and Graham Dickson (guitar, txalaparta), the band released their debut album, Star Of Love in 2010. Releasing further albums Cave Rave (2013), Everything Is My Family (2016) & Gaia & Friends (2019), the band’s musical fusion and unique style has drawn support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and 6Music while their contagiously joyous live shows have seen them play festivals, arenas and the odd cave across the globe. As such they have built up an awe inspiring live following – their last U.K. saw in 2019 saw them headline a sold out Brixton Academy show, as well as filling the WiZink Centre in Madrid and St Jordi in Barcelona .
